Setting Your College Search in the Right Direction

Choosing a college is an important decision, likely the biggest decision a 17-year-old will make at that point in their lives.  Fortunately, the college search process is ultimately a self-discovery process where a vast majority of outcomes are positive.  However, there is also a lot of noise out there, much of it causing unnecessary stress and distracting you and your student from your actual goals.

 

As your college counselor, my job is to provide you with the proper information and resources.  Armed with proper expectations and an understanding of the college search and selection process, you and your student will successfully navigate this process without the extraneous hand holding while filtering out the unnecessary noise that inherently comes with the territory.
